Out of Town: Going to Bohol
Ever since graduating, me and my college girlfriends have been postponing plans nonstop. After two years, we finally had a short trip out of town since one of us can only have two days off and her nature of work is quite strict with leaves. Hence the video name, Plans na Madayun (plans that pushed through LOL).
My girl Gia made this and try to spot me at the Hanging Bridge clips. I was shitting my tits. I've been to Bohol maybe three times and if you've explored all over Cebu, Bohol will taste familiar. Cost of living especially at Panglao is more expensive than Cebu since it's become a tourist capital of the province. There are many travel bloggers out there that have extensively covered where to go and I haven't explored enough. However, there are some food recommendations that I always tell friends if they were to visit:
1. Get the pesto spread from the Bohol Bee Farm. Aside from being a bread and pastry spread, I highly encourage you to use it with pasta.
2. The Buzz Cafe of Bohol Bee Farm has impeccable ice cream. My favorite is the peanut kisses flavor.
3. Ice candy from the Butterfly Sanctuary. Please do, maybe two. Or three.
4. A recent discovery, peanut fingers. Ditch the kisses, opt for these. Purchase a big-ass pack at the vendors outside Hinagdanan Cave.
5. There are restaurants at the Panglao beach area that cater to different cuisines. I only discovered this during our recent trip. We ate dinner at Isis that specializes in Thai cuisine. I say skip the grilled meat and fish products as these tend to be overpriced- this holds true in other restaurants in the area. But they serve huge-ass prawns. Damn.
I'll update this with more pictures and will maybe plug about where we stayed, which was the Panglao Bed and Breakfast owned by sir Boy. TBH, I tend to get lazy when I'm out with friends since they're the ones trigger happy with their cameras. I'll share with you my trip to Baguio last February with my partner soon as that will definitely be picture heavy and we got the chance to explore the city for 4 days.
